Last of Us - Left Behind.... DLC  Review "Spoiler free"

Hi-C's take:

Let me start and say I think Last of Us is one of the best games from the lat 10 years, and the best game on the PS3. Forgive me if my review of the DLC is a little biased.

Last of left behind DLC was overall an excellent addition to the story Arch in the main single player game. It goes into flashbacks before the game as well as parts during Joel's and Ellie's adventure.

It does exactly what the main game does, develops background, story and makes you care about the protagonists. The gameplay is as you remembered and there isn't much to say about that. If you loved the game and story there is no reason you wouldn't want more of that !

My main gripes is its length. You can pretty much complete it in one sitting and I was expecting more action packed game play. There is a lot of downtime to build up the characters background.

If you have PS3 and still haven't experienced this game.. your are doing a disservice to yourself. 


Bottom Line:

Worth the 15 bucks? : Absolutely. If you want more of the game and story YES !
If it was 25 or higher: I would still get it, but feel a little short changed.

Robocop Reboot Review (spoiler free)

The Robocop Reboot

Hi-C's take:

Well, I know many looked at the reboot in utter distaster !

How could you reboot such a classic ! This will be crap !

Was it total garbage ?

I didn't think so. If your a fan of Robocop franchise which pretty much

sucks after the first movie,you maybe turned off by this reboot. 

But let me tell you why its not as terrible as i thought.  I went into the movie thinking it was going to be a pile of poop, but if you remove yourself from the 80's version, its turns out to be just a decent sci-fi flick. Decent special effects and your basic revenge story. It does draw out in the middle but its entertaining nonetheless. 

Its nothing griping, it doesn't do anything new, but its worth a watch at home for sure. It does have some homages to the original, but its really just a cyborg movie that uses the robocop franchise name. 

Bottom Line:

Worth 10 bucks in the theater: NO

Worth a 1.51 Blu-Ray Rental Redbox: YES  (essentially... I'd buy that for a dollar)

Whats this..... a new post from Null and Void ?

Left for dead..... but arise once again like Alex Murphy did. 

Its been awhile....

But looking to bring some fresh new perspectives for 2014.
Yes, long delay, but life events, work, weddings, class has really put a damper in Null and Voids Style. Plus having the site blocked now at work really makes it harder to keep it updated. 

It may not be weekly, but will still try to post some cool stuff and throw in a poddycast here and there.
